Dear Mr. President,
I write this to you today to respectfully request that you resign from office immediately. In your brief eight months in office, you have proven incapable of fulfilling your role as President and Commander in Chief of the United States of America. With your actions and decisions, you have permanently damaged our country, made poor decisions that directly resulted in the unnecessary loss of life, unilaterally enacted policies that continue to result in increased economic hardship for millions, and knowingly and intentionally violated your oath to protect and defend the constitution of the United States for the sake of political expediency.
I fully expect that this request will go unheeded. Over your long political career, you have consistently demonstrated that you are a man utterly lacking in the honor, character, and integrity necessary to put this nation’s interest ahead of your own.
The consequences of your poor leadership will be felt for decades. Posterity shall remember you as a feckless politician unable to meet the challenges of his time and lacking the self-awareness to recognize his many shortcomings. I hope that our citizens will take to heart the lesson that we should never again give power to a man with no vision and no accomplishments.
I pray that you will do the right thing.
Vivat Libertas,
Michael J. Erwin
